Whiteoak Limited's principal activity is that of property holding and investment. Other income is generated from the sale of machinery.

The company is also seeking planning permission to convert a 17th century paper mill into homes. The redundant mill is set in 18 acres of land in the village of Greenfield, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, where the Purico Group also owns Dovestone Park, a timber lodge holiday centre.
