Purico’s interests in this part of the world are mostly within the paper industry. In China, we have established a number of successful Joint Ventures, including Zhejiang Purico Speciality Paper Company, Shandong Puri Filter Paper Products and Anhui Jing Paper Company. These companies cover everything from automotive filters to cigarette paper and hot beverage filtration.

Also based in China are a Joint Venture in Zhejiang Viola, which manufactures plastic cigarette paper cores and woven bags, and Fujian Anxi Tea Company, which is one of Chinas leading suppliers of tea.

Through associated companies, we have substantial investments in the Indian Stock Market and major food and dry dock services for ship chandlers in Russia.
