Bettix Limited is a market leader in the manufacture of plastic blow moulded bottles and packaging containers. Bettix developed the dispensing dosing bottles widely used within the pesticide, horticultural and industrial industries.
The company is famous for its innovative range of Bettamix measuring bottles and containers used in sectors ranging from medical, horticulture and industrial applications through to the automotive fuel additive market with many of its products commonly found in stores like B&Q, ASDA, Sainsbury’s and Halfords.
Bettix also specialises in a post mould surface barrier treatment process for customers who wish to fill their containers, for example, with citrus flavoured compounds or aggressive additives which would prove difficult without this process. The process modifies the surface properties of the container creating a highly effective barrier property which prevents the filled product migrating through the walls of the container, which would lead to a reduction in the filled container weight and the associated volume of the product. Typical applications for this highly effective barrier treatment includes:- automotive fuel additives, car care products, degreasers, lubricants, polishes, waxes, cleaning fluids, wood preservatives, insecticides, paint thinners, essential oils, solvents, aquatic treatments, cosmetics, hair and body shampoos.
Together with its sister company Bolton Plastic Components Ltd the company operates in excess of 50 modern blow-moulding and injection moulding machines and employs a workforce of over 320 highly trained employees.
The company offers full design capabilities if required and operates in a modern manufacturing environment working to exacting specifications and standards. The company carries the BSI quality logos and certificates operating to ISO90001:2008; ISO 14001:2004; ISO TS 16949:2009, and is registered under the ESOS scheme for their energy and carbon management reduction programmes.
Bettix along with its sister company Bolton Plastic Components Ltd operates on 250,000 sq ft manufacturing site of modern production and storage units.
