Bolta Industrie- und Bauprofile GmbH is a leading mid-sized manufacturer of construction, technical and extruded profiles. The company is partnered with Blugilt Holdings Limited, based in Nottingham.

This powerful group is involved with the manufacture, production and distribution of modern plastics in the range of:

• Extruded profiles and semi-finished profiles,
• Plated injection moulded parts

The company has been producing profiles since 1958, and has developed a broad, market-oriented product range. A range of standard colour combinations are provided and the company provides for more than 2700 existing colours.

Bolta is now the brand name for competence and quality in the processing of plastics. A strong and efficient team is the foundation of the company’s success, and we currently have a dedicated workforce of about 225 employees.

One of the guiding principles of Bolta is to focus on the developments of new products and to provide our clients with added value and comfort.

The processing of materials takes place at 36 high-performance extrusion lines. We produce technical profiles for the construction, automotive and furniture industry, manufacturers of white goods, shelving and lighting, as well as for the facade and window industry. We produce not only our standard profiles, but also the custom profiles for our clients and partners that have been specified and designed by our highly skilled team.

The company’s laboratory can respond flexibly to individual customer needs and can develop specific colour and material formulations as required. In collaboration with our suppliers, we ensure that by using the highest quality raw materials we are able to guarantee the very high quality of our extrusion products. Our material formulas are tailored to meet the product requirements and thus the most extreme pressures that are placed on the products.

The factory mixing, design and development departments, as well as all our tools and jigs, can flexibly respond to market demands and customer needs. Profiles with aluminium and steel belt deposits, scarred, printed and hot stamping surface, co-and tri-extrusion, through to complete "in-line" solution (drilling, milling and punching in the extrusion line) are part of our production capacity.

Our extrusion profiles are monitored during the entire production process. Modern testing methods and test equipment ensure constant high quality profiles. The company maintains a continuous improvement policy that involves both the process and the people to ensure that we maintain customer satisfaction in the quality of our product.

The company acknowledges the environmental responsibility that is associated with each operational action, and we understand the principle of sustainable, resource-economic activity as a major component of our future-oriented, integrated enterprise. Thus, we see it as our task, as part of our continuous improvement in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 certified environmental management system, that our environmental performance meets these standards, and that we focus on the use of eco-efficient processes and procedures.
 
Important components of our environmental program are far-reaching measures including; heat recovery, the use of a closed-cooling water circulation, consistent use of recycled materials and the substitution of any hazardous substances in our products.

Bolta offers dealers, partners and consumers alike product of the highest quality. In 1997, the company received the TÜV CERT - Certificate in Business development, manufacture and sales of plastic profiles and accessories for flooring, according to DIN EN ISO 9001
